Organiser Roger King said: “The Whybirds and Tequilla Mockingbird got in touch wanting to do a show together and naturally we lept at the opportunity.

“They are both great rock bands with influences spanning four decades.

“We thought we’d stick with the Bedfordshire theme as there is something in the water in the county.

“This has left us with a cracking lineup that I can’t wait to see!”

From the flatlands of Bedford, they boast a diverse sound colored with textures and flavoured with 90s grunge, and provide an alternative to normal chart acts.

The third act on the bill are The Whybirds, a three-piece band, again from Bedford.

Classic Rock journalist, Derek Oliver, said: “The Whybirds have it all; songs, musicianship and a sense of maturity that most acts of this kind can’t even comprehend.”

The Whybirds released their third studio album, ‘A Little Blood’, in November 2013.
