Biggleswade restaurant’s charity night launch

A RESTAURANT raised more than £400 for charity as it celebrated its launch with a fundraising evening.

Shunar Bangla, formerly The Hopbine pub is donating the sum to the East of England Air Ambulance (EEAA) following the fundraiser.

Customers could also enjoy a free beer or glass of wine.

The Drove Road eaterie, which specialises in Bangladeshi cuisine will be running similar nights in the future, including an event in September where proceeds will be donated to Sue Ryder Care at St John’s Hospice, Moggerhanger.
