Bonfire and barbecue to raise money for Ev

Over 100 doors, 40 pallets, a shed and two garden fences were part of the charity bonfire that took place in Potton. Evan Rees-Humphreys, 12, lit the bonfire last Friday at 5pm with family and friends joining him. The public event started Saturday with a barbecue, drinks, cakes and campfire songs.
Evan was diagnosed with a rare form of liver cancer aged eight. He underwent treatment and thought it had been cured but it has now re-appeared in his lungs.
