Breaking news: Police investigate death of Wrestlingworth School governor
Wrestlingworth Lower school is closed for the day while police investigate an unexplained death in the house next door.
A woman, believed to be Doctor Margaret Tisdale, was found in the garden of the property last night.
The school sent a text to parents saying: “School Closed. Very sadly our chair of governors Margaret who lives next to the school was found dead last night. The police have closed Church Lane.”

Hide AdA Police spokesman said: “We are investigating the sudden death of a woman at an address in Church Lane, Wrestinglingworth.
“Officers were called to reports of the body in a garden at 6.30pm. The death is being treated as unexplained.
“The scene is currently cordoned off and enquiries are continuing.”
