Sandra, of Pyms Way, takes over from Paula Wenham, who successfully ran the club for five years but who has had to step down for personal reasons.
The club was in great need of a new leader before Sandra offered to reprise her former role. Sandra has six children and three grandchildren of her own and she was also a foster carer for 10 years.
She is looking for helpers to assist with sessions, and particularly somebody who is good at arts and crafts.
