Bringing Stone Age to reserve

TIME explorers will soon be back at the RSPB reserve in Sandy.

Following last year’s success, the weekend of activities will return on July 9 and 10.

Visit the reserve between 10am and 5pm and see a Stone Age man knapping flint arrowheads in his skin covered shelter.

Moving forward through time, stand by in amazement as a full bronze dagger and axe are smelted before your very eyes.

And visitors can make sure they look the part by getting their faces painted with woad.

The entrance charge is £5 per vehicle and there will be a small charge for some activities.
