The event will be held within the 18 acres of the hospice grounds at Moggerhanger on August 8 from 3pm to 10pm.

Bands, singers and musicians of every type of music from classical to rock, acoustic (and all in between) will perform in the open air, on various stages set up around the grounds.

Fay Boissieux, event organiser at St John’s Hospice, said: “We are so excited to be holding our first ever musical festival. We have some great bands lined up and the hype around this festival is already growing.

“This is a great way for people of all ages to come along and really enjoy some amazing talent within spectacular views. I encourage you all to come along and help us to dance the night away.”

The organisers are hoping this initial event will be the start of something that will grow bigger over the years.

The day will include a licensed bar, barbecue, other types of food, and many music related attractions.
