Cadets finish a prestigious award

Air cadets camped out during another stage of their Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Members of the 22 (Sandy) Squadron and the 2065 (Biggleswade) Squadron set off on Saturday, September 29 and navigated their way to the campsite.

On arrival they set up camp and cooked dinner. The next day they packed up and walked to the finish. William Clubb, 15, said: “It was a challenging weekend that required a lot of effort but it was well worth it.”

This was the award’s final stage for several cadets.
