Call out to chimney fire
Firefighters were called to a chimney fire inStotfold yesterday, the third in the county this week.
The call was to Vaughan Road, Stotfold, at 9.19pm.
On-call firefighters from Shefford were sent to the property. When they arrived ten minutes later they began fighting the fire with a strirrup pump and buckets of water. They called for support from the Bedford Aerial Platform which arrived at 22.12 and assisted them in extinguishing the fire which was out by 10.53pm.
