Calling all parents to support academy

PLANS to build a new school are taking shape and parents are now being urged to give their opinions.

The Potton Academy Parent Group announced its hopes of running an upper school in the town in the Biggleswade Chronicle on Christmas Eve.

Their formal consultation with nearby Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire schools began this week. Parents are also asked to speak up about this possible educational establishment.

All interested parties are invited to fill in a short questionnaire at www.pottonacademy.co.uk

Spokesman, Naomi Marek, said: “This is the first time families have been asked if they want a new school and the more responses we get the more we can tailor the school.”
