Celebrations for 25 years on site

A lower school is preparing to mark 25 years in its current location later this month.

St Swithun’s Lower School in Sandy is celebrating the anniversary of its 1987 move from St Neots Road to Ivel Road. The school that eventually became St Swithun’s Lower School was founded in 1920.

The governors, staff and pupils are inviting all past pupils, staff, governors and PTA members to join the festivities.

The event will take place on Friday, October 19 from 2.30pm to 5pm.

Visitors will be able to see the children at work while observing how the school has developed over the last quarter of a century.

And you can help the school to prepare for the celebration by digging out any old photos you may have. The staff would love you to lend them for the afternoon.

If you have any old photographs to lend then contact the school by telephone on 01767 680692 or by email on [email protected]
