Charge over supermarket TV theft
A man has been charged with theft after he tried to steal a television from a supermarket.
The 31 year-old man from Stotfold was stopped by security guards at ASDA in Biggleswade shortly after 9.15am on Sunday (March 9).
He had put the £100 TV in a trolley and was trying to leave the store.
Police were called and the man was arrested and later charged. Anyone with any information should call 101.
