Children unleash their creative talents at a holiday club

Children made new friends and enjoyed their summer vacation to the full at a holiday club.

The annual entertainment was held at Langford Methodist Church.

More than 20 children took part in the three day event, which involved daily dramatisations as well as games, crafts and refreshments. They even decorated people shapes to create a joint poster.

The summer club is shared between Langford and Henlow Methodist Churches.

Sue Watson, co-organiser of the event, said: “We are very pleased that the club ran successfully again this summer.

“The children involved enjoyed the three days and we followed the club up with an invitation to our Sunday services of which a number have already attended.”

The club will run next summer at Henlow Methodist Church.
