A prize draw of £50 for exhibiting vehicles was won by Oliver Crampton with his Mini.

The event was dreamed up by two classic car enthusiasts in Shefford, Mick Potter and Matt Hollingsworth, who decided to organise the event as something new for the town. The event was promoted with posters, via car clubs and social media.

Matt said: “As a new event there was no idea who was going to turn up.

“The weather always plays a part, but we were blessed with a nice evening and lots of people took the opportunity to come along and enjoy themselves. The response and feedback has been great, with a lot of people saying they are looking forward to next year, so a date for 2016 will be decided soon.”
