The flags have now arrived and the Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire, Helen Nellis, presented them to the leader of Central Beds Council, James Jamieson, the mayor of Bedford, Dave Hodgson, and the mayor of Luton, Councillor Sheila Roden during a special ceremony at Central Beds Council’s headquarters in Chicksands.

Helen Nellis spoke about the history of the Commonwealth and the values in the Commonwealth Charter.
