Coronation party is good cheer for town
Senior citizens can enjoy a party again this year.
Sandy’s Big Lunch will be held on Sunday, June 2 from 12.30pm in Sandy Village Hall. It is celebrating Elizabeth II’s 60 years on the throne. Senior citizens from Beeston and Sandy plus disabled people with their relatives or carers are invited.
The event is free and transport is provided. It has been funded by £500 given to Ken and Audrey Lynch on their golden wedding anniversary and £50 from Biggleswade and Sandy Lions.
There will be music, a buffet and coronation cake.
