Cup cakes and treats at craft fair

The River Smith Events event took place in the Ivy Leaf Club in Langford on Saturday (September 24).

One of the organisers, Baya Salmon-Hawk, said: “It went really well and lots of people came.

“We had 15 stalls altogether and quite a lot of those were from the village.

“This was the launch of our Christmas programme and we do it every year.”

She said that it was the first time that the fair had been held at the Ivy Leaf Club and that this was a good location as it is important within the village.

Future events include learning to make sugar decorations for cakes in the forms of penguins and making edible gifts.
