A car travelling from the Sutton or Potton area then entered the roundabout and collided with the cyclist, who was knocked on to the bonnet and then into the road. The offender did not stop and sped off towards Dunton.

The victim was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage for treatment and it was confirmed that he had suffered a broken collar bone as well as minor facial injuries.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident or may have seen the vehicle – which is described as a light coloured car, possibly a small people carrier - either before or after the collision.
