Dancers show their Regency steps at garden craft afternoon
On Sunday (June 26), the Friends of the Swiss Garden in Old Warden Park played host to their second arts and crafts demonstration day.
The early 19th Century dancing tied in well with the period in which the garden was built; the 1820s.
The dancers gave two performances during the afternoon.

Neil Higgs was the first to take the spotlight with his acrylics. Shelagh Ashley later demonstrated her watercolour paintings and the art of floristry was revealed by Marie King at the end of the afternoon.
The garden itself is well worth visiting as it combines the then popular attributes of ornamental gardening and picturesque architecture.
