David Cameron talks policing in Arlesey

David Cameron visited Chronicle Country ahead of the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) elections on Friday (November 2).

The Prime Minister spoke to a packed WI Hall in Arlesey, accompanied by the Conservative Party PCC candidate Jas Parmar.

Members of Neighbourhood Watch, the Arlesey Residents’ Association and other groups could ask questions about crime and policing in the area.

Mr Cameron said he was delighted to hear that crime has been falling in the town but stressed that the Police and Crime Commissioner will play a vital role in overseeing policing.
