Renowned for fronting the legendary indie rock group and the anointed poster boy for the slacker generation, Mr Dando is one of the most accomplished songwriters of recent years with an eclectic output that has never been anything other than sublime.

From the melodic punk rock of Lick to the country stylings of the amazing Baby, I’m Bored the man is truly a legend in his own lifetime.

There are also some lovely stories of Evan and his lady wife simply showing up at small time shows to offer their support to up-and-coming local bands, not just in his US home town, but around the world.

Having reformed The Lemonheads in 2006, Evan Dando is still playing to huge audiences, whether he is headlining Oxford’s Truck Festival in 2008 or topping the bill at the Camden Crawl just a few months ago.
