Drinking a cuppa for AmnesTea

A COFFEE shop will be marking three years in business with a fundraising tea party.

Cafe Mocha, which is located in Biggleswade High Street, is inviting customers to join them for the anniversary on Saturday, May 28.

The not-for-profit community cafe’s birthday is shared with that of Amnesty International, which reaches its half centenary on the same day.

So Cafe Mocha is joining with Amnesty International to help celebrate its 50 year history. Throughout the day the coffee shop will be raising money to support its work for humanity and human rights.

At Cafe Mocha’s AmnesTea party on the Saturday every single penny taken through sales of Fairtrade tea, fruit teas and specialist teas will go to Amnesty International.

100 per cent of the takings for homemade cakes will also go to the cause.

You can hold an AmnesTea party with your friends or colleagues. Visit www.amnesty.org.uk to find out how.
