Father Richard is inducted
Father Richard Moroney has been inducted as the Parish Priest of St Peter’s Catholic Church in Biggleswade.
Mr Moroney was appointed as Parish Priest at the church in 2012 and he has now been inducted by the Bishop of Northampton, the Right Reverend Peter Doyle. The Induction Mass took place at the church on Tuesday evening (February 25).
Mr Moroney welcomed the congregation to the ceremony and said he has been heartened by the unity of the church community in Biggleswade.
After the mass had finished refreshments were served and members of the congregation could meet the Bishop.
