Fine dining at the renovated hotel

A YOUNG couple are hoping to breathe new life into a town’s pub and hotel.

Chris Woodcraft and Belle Burke, both 23, have moved into The Coach House in Potton Market Square.

They have spent the last three weeks dramatically renovating the inside and they will open their doors to the public tomorrow (Saturday, October 29).

The bar area has been redesigned, with the bar itself consisting of wood from the old bar and reclaimed wood.

The window has been enlarged to allow more light into the room and to give a better view of the market square. During the evening it will function as a traditional pub but shoppers can pop in for a coffee and homemade cake in the daytime.

The pair intend to market their business as a gastro pub, which sells traditional meals at a particularly high quality alongside more adventurous dishes.
