First aid and other skills for the young

St John Ambulance in Biggleswade has started a badger unit for five to 10-year-olds and now it will launch a cadet unit for children aged 10 to 17.

Guided by youth leaders, cadets take part in an interactive and full programme, working towards their Grand Prior Award.

The programme enables young people to learn important life skills in a fun and safe environment.

Information will be available at the centre in Crab Lane from 6.30pm to 8.30pm every Tuesday up to and including June 11.
