Friends and neighbours mark the months

Chris Martin has created the first Gamlingay village calendar on behalf of St Mary’s Church.

He wanted to raise funds for the church as well as showing everyone that the congregation are “up for a giggle.”

Chris said: “I’ve got people totally out of character; the choir in football kit, the older ladies acting as bouncers and the youth players all asleep. It’s meant to be a bit of a joke.

“There are hundreds of village people in the calendar.”

It includes plenty of local groups such as the guides and the brownies.

The 2012 calendars cost £4.99 and are available from Chris on 01767 652832, The Cock Inn or The Crafty Cupcake.
