Fun at church’s holiday club

The Mission Rescue Summer Holiday Club at St Andrew’s Church in Biggleswade ran for four days and followed the Story of Moses as its theme.

Youngsters from the Chat Room and Group Five, the church’s two youth groups, took part and the scheme was run by a small army of volunteers.

Highlights of the week included a trip to Woburn Safari Park which saw five busloads of youngsters enjoy a day out.

Volunteer Shirley Williams said: “It was a lot of fun and gave the youngsters the chance to have fun while learning about the Story of Moses at the same time.”
