Fundraising thanks for 25 years

A middle school has been thanked for all its fundraising with a special certificate.

Fiona Westwood from the NSPCC visited Robert Bloomfield Academy to make the presentation.

The school has been supporting the NSPCC since 1989, when it raised £2,000 through a non-uniform day.

Together with other fund raising activities over the last 25 years, it has raised just over £24,000.

Fiona said: “It has been such a pleasure to work with such a committed school. It is the highlight of our year to come to RBA to talk about the work of the NSPCC.”

The school thanked all the parents, pupils and staff.
