Fundraising washes with us!
CAR-washing volunteers helped a rugby club to raise around £1,600 for charity on Sunday (September 11).
A largely female group of Biggleswade Rugby Club members wore pink bikinis for the fundraiser, and dodged the occasional downpour to wash a large number of vehicles. The car wash was part of a weekend of fundraising events at the club put on in aid of the Breast Cancer Care charity.
A charity rugby match organised by Mark Peace also saw the lines on the pitch being painted pink and one player even wore a pink tu tu for the game.
