George and the Dragon at Wrest Park

Watch the dragon and the famed knight battle it out at Wrest Park, Silsoe this Saturday, Sunday and Monday (April 23 to 25).

Children and adults alike will love walking through the different times zones of English history on display in the gardens.

As well as George and the dragon there will be land girls from the 1940s and a kids’ army assault course.

And the Romans will also be strutting their stuff and showing off their armour.

There will also be an authentic historic market and an interactive dragon puppet theatre.

The festival will run from 10am to 6pm each day. Tickets on the door cost £14 for adults, £8.40 for five to 15 year olds, £12.60 for concessions and £36.40 for families.
