Guidance for young people

4YP was one of three companies to sign a contract with Central Beds Council last week.

Gill Boydell, director for Biggleswade, Sandy and the outlying towns and villages, said: “I will be working in Sandy Upper School and Stratton and I will also be available for those who have left school.

“I have got a number of places that I can meet people such as libraries and youth centres as meets their needs.

“We are also working closely with the job centre.”

Each young person is given an overall assessment and if they have any issues that need resolving they can also be referred to other agencies.

The service is free and anyone aged 13 to 19 can get in touch.

People with special needs up to the age of 25 can also access 4YP.
