Have your say on plans to surround town with green

Central Beds Council is inviting people from the Biggleswade area to have their say on plans for a new green wheel of land around the town.

The idea is that the land is good for walking and cycling as well as biodiversity.

The proposals have been created by Central Beds Council, Biggleswade Town Council and Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity (BRCC). A public consultation begins today and runs until Friday, December 28.

There will be a display at Biggleswade Library from Tuesday, November 27 to Saturday, December 1 and people from Central Beds Council and the BRCC will be there to talk between 10am and 2pm on Friday, November 30.

There will also be a display at Saxon Pool and Leisure Centre from Monday, December 3 to Sunday, December 14 with people from the council and the BRCC there from 12.30pm to 4.30pm on Wednesday, December 12.
