Hearing on health centre proposals in Biggleswade

AN inspector from the Planning Inspectorate attended a hearing concerning proposals for a new health centre in Biggleswade.

The hearing, which took place at Central Bedfordshire Council’s offices on Wednesday last week (October 12) followed the council’s refusal of the planning application for the new centre, allotments and other facilities on land east of Saxon Drive.

Biggleswade Town Council has appealed and a final decision on the application is expected sometime next month.
