Highest beaver award goes to five Swan Pack members
Young members of the scouting movement were delighted to receive an award.
Lucy Cave, Charlie Oliver, Aiden Spires, Ava Sambrook and William Aylett from Sandy’s Swan Beaver pack have completed their Chief Scout Bronze Awards.
Sharon Bate, who runs the pack, said: “It’s the highest award that a beaver scout can get.

Hide Ad“It has taken them a year to 18 months. There are a few beavers working towards it.”
The beavers had to complete six challenges; creative, fitness, friendship, global, outdoor and promise.
Sandy Mayor Susan Sutton presented the awards on Wednesday, November 7.
The Chief Scout Bronze Award is a forerunner to the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
