All Class 365 trains that run between London King’s Cross and Biggleswade, Sandy and Arlesey are being updated by Bombadier Transportation, through an investment by Eversholt Rail who lease the trains to FCC.

The refurbished trains will have fresh seat upholstery, new flooring, refurbished finishes and a new livery.

Each train has also been through a major engineering overhaul to maintain its levels of reliability.

FCC managing director David Statham said:“We are pleased with the progress being made on the Class 365 refresh and are delighted to hear positive feedback from our passengers who have been fortunate to travel on board.

“Enhanced accessibility features and improved on-board information will be added to later trains going through the refresh process.”

Mary Kenny, chief executive of Eversholt Rail said: “We are pleased that passengers on the Great Northern route are enjoying the benefits of the improved fleet.”
