It’s generation next with new-born baby

Sarah Brewer gave birth to Sophie Grace last month, meaning that there are now five living generations of women in one family.

Biggleswade couple Sarah, 31 and her husband Mike, 32 have since introduced their baby daughter to her grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother at a family celebration.

The generations now range in age from one-month-old to almost 104 – Sarah’s great-grandmother Dorothy Jones celebrates her birthday on Monday (January 23).

The relatives live in different parts of the country so when they do meet up they make the most of their time together.

Sarah, who has lived in Lindsell Crescent with Mike for eight years, said: “We are scattered around a bit but we do like to meet up as often as we can. Family gatherings will be extra special now.”
