Learn a tune with Sandy music school

The Music Room in Sandy has just moved to new premises in the High Street and one of the changes in store is the introduction of a music school.

Joint owner, Andy Maycock, said: “We are starting the music school in September, offering lessons in a wide range of the mainstream instruments.

“We will have expert tuition at sensible prices as a lot of kids are cut out of learning because of the cost.”

These lessons will take place in the cellar, which has been turned into a fully soundproofed studio.

Groups can also rent the studio for rehearsals at the cost of just £10 per hour.
