Now the Nearly New Shop at St John’s Hospice in Moggerhanger has had a facelift, 20 years after opening its doors for the first time.

Manager Caroline Carthy said volunteers and staff had given their time to make the shop look amazing and provide customers with the sort of experience they’d get on the high street.

She added: “We’re always looking for good quality second-hand or new items of clothing, jewellery, hats and shoes.”
The shop also sells everything from DVDs to bric-a-brac, computer games and much more.

If you’d like to check what sort of items are accepted, call 01767 642433.

And if you’re looking for a new challenge and would like to volunteer and be part of the team, email [email protected]

The hospice has a busy year ahead with three events this month alone.
