Man hit by train named
The man who was hit by a train on Sunday evening has been named.
He was Stephen James Child, 49, of The Baulk in Biggleswade.
An inquest was opened today (Tuesday, August 6) under the jurisdiction of Coroner David Morris.
The death at Rail Foot Crossing 42 in Biggleswade – at the common – was confirmed by Paramedic Anderson.
The cause of death was listed as multiple injuries.
An adjournment date is to be arranged.
