The new allotments that could be created on land at the front of Shefford Health Centre were also a focal point, especially the delays the council has experienced in reaching an agreement on the lease with the Robert Lucas Trust charity.
Shefford Open 4 Business – the new forum and support group for business people in the town – was also on the agenda for discussion.
Mr Mackin said that the organisation – which holds regular meetings and events – is an invaluable resource and aims to revive the former Shefford Chamber of Commerce.
