Microchip your dogs

Animal charity, Wood Green, will be visiting Pets at Home on the Biggleswade Retail Park next Saturday (August 13).

Anyone visiting from 10am to 3pm can get their dog microchipped for just £5.

Senior outreach officer, Hayley Hurley, said: “Microchipping is the quickest and most effective way of permanently identifying your dog in case he is lost or stolen.

“Only 30 per cent of stray dogs who came to the centre last year were reunited with their owners – this could greatly increase if all dogs were microchipped.”

All dogs are welcome and no appointment is needed.
