Gamlingay’s Brycchan Carey will give his talk, called Space, Time and Monsters, at Gamingay Library Access Point.
The reader in English at Kingston University, who is also the co-ordinator of Gamlingay Environmental Action Group, will be romping through a billion years of science fiction history, from Roman visits to the moon, through Victorian gas-lit space ships to cyberpunk futures – all as seen through the lens of a classic episode of Doctor Who.
The talk will take place on Friday, May 24 at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £3 including refreshments. Call the library on 01767 651226 for more details.
