Musical afternoon is for charity

AN art gallery is holding an afternoon of jazz to raise money for charity.

Franklins Art Gallery on Hammerhill in Haynes has planned an Afternoon of Exquisite Musical Entertainment in aid of Help for Heroes, to take place on the anniversary of 9/11.

10 piece Adhoc Swing Band will be playing while visitors enjoy a hog roast and a Pimms party. There is a marquee in case of rain and the miniature railway will put on train rides.

The event takes place on Sunday, September 11 from 3pm to 7pm. Tickets cost £6.50 for adults and children get in free. The hog roast costs £7 per adult portion and £3.50 per child’s portion.

Only 120 tickets are available so booking is recommended. Just call Karen Franklin on 01234 381740.
