Musical instruments stolen by burglars

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a violin valued at £5,500 was stolen during a burglary in Biggleswade on Thursday, October 16.

Police are appealing for witnesses after this violin was stolen

The burglary took place sometime between 2pm and 5pm in a top floor flat on Winston Crescent.

Once inside, the offenders took the violin – a JK Monk, Lewisham, 1907 no. 165 – and a guitar from a cupboard and then stole a number of DVDs, cash and small electrical devices before fleeing the property.
