Nature lovers’ money
IT was Love Nature Week in Bedfordshire and donations were collected around the area.
Five RSPB volunteers raised £140 in street collections, including £36 given by the people of Sandy.
The money will go towards projects in the local area such as habitat re-creation at The Lodge and inspiring children through the RSPB’s field teaching and schools work.
The collectors were dressed in elaborate bird costumes.
