Neighbours team up to fight Traveller site

Neighbours have formed a group to protest against a proposed Gypsy and Traveller site.

Residents Against Inappropriate Development (RAID) has been created by people living on Gamlingay Heath, with reference to the adjacent Site 58. They have sought planning and legal advice and consequently they will be sending a letter of intent for judicial review of the selection process to Central Beds Council before the council next discusses it.

The Gypsy and Traveller Local Plan is on the agenda for full council on Thursday (April 18) at 6.30pm in Priory House.
