New image for fashion boutique

THE owner of a designer clothes store has decided to change her shop’s name to update its image.

Four Seasons has been selling quality items to the people of Sandy and further afield for the best part of 30 years.

But now Sue Pelletier is rebranding the High Street shop in a bid to shake off the belief that it is only aimed at older people.

Sue has renamed the boutique Sue Pelletier to improve its image. She said: “I’m changing the name mainly because people think Four Seasons is an old fashioned ladies’ shop.

“We have a lady working for us who is an image consultant and she has had people say to her that it’s for older ladies. When I came here nine years ago it was really an older ladies’ shop with nothing trendy and I’ve had to work hard at changing the image.

“The clothes are aimed at women in their late 30s and 40s plus and they are classical, elegant, smart and comfortable.

“We will still have the same style and personal service. Hopefully this will bring more customers in.”

Since taking over the store six years ago Sue has introduced jewellery, shoes, bags and other stylish accessories.

Tomorrow (Saturday, September 3) there will be a preview of the autumn catalogue and Sue hopes to have the new sign ready by then or shortly afterwards.

The preview will run until Saturday, September 10. Customers can enjoy a glass of wine or a soft drink while browsing the new collections and some of the items will also be modelled.

The website at www.fourseasonsofsandy.co.uk is also being updated to reflect the name change.
