New plea for Lapland trip sponsors

A BUSINESSWOMAN will be auctioning off a Christmas trip to Lapland for charity and is looking for help with sponsorship.

Jane Warner, who used to live in Potton and runs Fun with Santa, will be open to bids during this year’s BBC Children in Need Appeal in November.

Fun with Santa provides holidays to Lapland and the all-expenses paid trip – which will include flights, log cabin accommodation and food and drink – will be sold to the highest bidder as part of the 2011 television and radio appeal. Fun with Santa can cover the costs of the accommodation, meals and excursions but Jane needs sponsorship for the flights.

She said: “It will cost about £4,500 for a group of up 10 people to fly with British Airways. I’m looking for any generous sponsors who can help out with the funding, or if one person or organisation can meet the full amount then they will be mentioned on BBC Radio 2 during the auction.”

Anyone who can help can contact Jane by sending an email to [email protected]
