Over in Bedford, fresh from the nineties Reef members Gary and Jack are back in the form of StringerBessant.

And the dynamic duo will appear at Bedford Civic Theatre on October 7.

As members of nineties Brit-rock band Reef, both men have dealt with both sides of being in a successful band, but their stripped down, blues inspired tunes are a force to be reckoned with in their own right.

But for hardcore fans of the band there will also be a few Reef classics served up at the event.

StringerBessant’s debut album Yard is available now through Xtra Mile Recordings.

Yard, which was produced by Bruno Ellingham, sees both Gary and Jack sharing and swapping vocal and guitar parts on several tracks, an effect which has gained them rave reviews with both fans and the music press.

This show is a must for any fans of the nineties Brit Pop scene, but more importantly StringerBessant have crafted something great, a world away from anything the two men have previously done.

Tickets cost £9 in advance and are on sale from the Corn Exchange box office on 01234 269519 or alternatively via the www.wegottickets.com website.
