Hundreds mourn a true gentleman

Hundreds of mourners attended the funeral of Biggleswade’s Peter Vickers on Wednesday.

St Andrew’s Church was packed to remember the life of Peter, of St Andrew’s Street, who died aged 66.

Peter, a retired accountant, was an active member of the parish church, a long-serving town and district councillor, a Rotarian, and a past chairman of Biggleswade Conservative Club.
